To Do:
- Keep It simple
- Make sure titles don't interfere and do fit well with the on-screen action
- Make sure the mise-en-scene accurately
- Use a variety of shots
- Keep editing smooth
- Use appropriate sounds that create the desired effect
- Put thought into composition of framing
- Make sure the genre is clear
- Give some narrative
- Be practical with locations, props and actors
Not To Do:
- Break continuity rules
- Break the 180 degrees rule
- Use sounds that don't match the genre
- Give away the whole plot line within the first two minutes
